International Child Rights Day in Primary Education

27th November 15

The International Child Rights Day, November 20th, was celebrated here at Laude Fontenebro Senior School.

Primary students met at the library where they listened to several stories related to the children’s rights. They participated by answering questions and reflected on the different debates.

Finally, they coloured in drawings and at the end they stuck them on their clothes as a commemorative symbol.

To sum up, students understood the importance of the International Child Rights Day and realised how lucky some children are because they can utilise those rights as opposed to some children who have difficulties receiving and maintaining their rights.
